Jose (P.V.Chacko) was born and brought up in a traditional Roman Catholic family in Kerala state, south India. Right from the childhood he was much religious and tried to be more pious before others, where as his parents were after traditional status and money. He was completely ignorant about the salvation through Jesus Christ.  

Thanks to the desire to become a priest Jose joined Don Bosco Salatian Seminary after his matriculation. But on account of worsened situation at his home, he had to discontinue the seminary education within a couple of months.He continued his education by joining the course of Merchant Navy Radio officer (COP) at All India Marine College, Cochin. During this period his family has undergone a severe problem and his mind began to be disturbed constantly. He became restless and resorts to all possible ways to restore the peace, but the failed in every aspects. His parents, brothers and sisters were also in the same boat.

Meanwhile his eldest sister moved to the capital of Kerala for her higher studies and God led her to the salvation experience wonderfully. Her changed life and earnest prayer brought much impact in Jose’s life. This led him to the sake experience of salvation and he became a new creation . He found the answers of all life problems in Jesus Christ. Gracious God changed the direction of his life and revealed His purpose for him. So he committed his life for His service. Then he joined Peniel Bible Seminary (Kerala) for one year and later did his B.Th (Serampore University) from Hindustan Bible Institute and College, Madras.

After the graduation God opened a door for him to join as an Assistant Field Officer in Farms India (Northern Region). The two and half year’s association with them gave him a complete field experience in the ministry and he could travel extensively through out the northern parts of our country.

After his marriage with Anu, they moved to New Delhi and there he has been teaching in different theological institutes. Meanwhile they were praying fervently for master’s guidance to involve inn mission. So as an answer to the prayer the good Lord guided them

Now Jose is working as the Director Adelphos India Ministries and concentrating in outreach ministry by training young people and equip them as an effective in the field. He committed for planting disciple making churches in every unreached cities and villages.
